Teréga Solutions and MODAL GROUP are strengthening their partnership to offer industrial players looking to decarbonize their activities CO₂ transport solutions by road, rail, or waterway, when pipeline transport is not suitable for their project.
A light logistics offer adapted to decarbonization projects
Teréga Solutions is developing a service offering designed to support CO₂ producers and consumers in implementing their decarbonization projects. In this context, the company relies on MODAL GROUP's expertise in intermodal transport to study the technical and economic feasibility of off-pipeline CO₂ transport solutions and their integration into a complete supply chain.
The ambition is to design, for each project, the most relevant supply chain based on volumes, site location, available infrastructure, and CO₂ destination (storage or utilization).
The two partners intend to combine their expertise to build technical and economic solutions tailored to the needs of project developers, from analyzing CO₂ characteristics and volumes to be transported to defining the supply chain, necessary equipment, and associated transport costs.
